Satellite internet at the cottage by Triglav Lakes

Telecommunications are crucial for ensuring safety and smooth operations in remote areas. In this spirit, we are pleased to announce that satellite internet at the cottage by Triglav Lakes is now operational.

The operation was carried out with the assistance of a helicopter from Flycom. The flight from Stara Fužina to the cottage by Triglav Lakes took less than 5 minutes, which is exceptional compared to the hiking route that would take over 5 hours. This approach allowed us to quickly and efficiently install the necessary equipment and establish a connection that will enable visitors to the cottage to access the internet.

Establishing satellite internet in such a remote location brings numerous advantages. Not only does it provide visitors with access to essential communication channels, but it also contributes to safety and better organization of potential rescue operations. Connectivity in the heart of nature is now enabled without disturbing the natural environment, which is one of our main priorities.

With this successful installation, we have taken an important step towards improving telecommunications services in mountainous areas. Our vision is to enable connectivity even in the most remote parts of Slovenia, thereby contributing to greater safety and comfort for visitors and residents of these regions. Telecommunications are not just a tool for communication; they are also a means of saving lives and enhancing the quality of life in nature.
